Books for a business your agents help run.
Weekly sales, supplier bills and utilities posted by agents as balanced entries. You read the same profit and loss they do, from one file you own.
Updated
Where small-business books go wrong.
01
Books kept on weekends
Receipts and sales summaries pile up until someone has time to enter them.
02
Double-counted sales
A sync sends the same summary twice, and the month looks better than it was.
03
Numbers you can't check
An app shows a total, but not the entries behind it.
Scenarios
Questions an owner can answer.
How OpenLedger answers
get_profit_loss returns income, expenses and net profit for any date range.
How OpenLedger answers
A duplicate weekly summary was reversed, so the week is counted once. The reversal says why.
How OpenLedger answers
The server refuses the entry and names the account, so nothing lands in the wrong place.

Questions.
Does it do payroll, invoicing or tax?
No. It records entries and produces the trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet. Payroll, invoicing and tax stay in the tools you use now.
Does it connect to my point-of-sale or bank?
Not directly. An agent or a script posts what your point-of-sale exports. Bank feeds aren't built; tell us if you need them.
Does it handle more than one currency?
No. Each deployment keeps one set of books in one base currency.
Let your agents keep the books. Keep the rules on the server.
Run OpenLedger on sample books in minutes, or have Attri deploy it inside your environment with access control and approval rules.
